When Buying Real Estate
When we are working together to buy a home or any real estate, for that matter, I am going to talk with you about several things. First, I will want to understand what you are looking for and even help you prioritize the importance of specific features. Second, I will talk with you about how long you intend to own the property and suggest factors you might consider to help protect the value of your investment. Third, I will want any offer you make to be well received and will work closely with you to position your offer so that it is as attractive as possible to a seller.
When looking for properties you will want to search the whole Fresno County MLS system online in the box appearing on the upper left of this page. Also, you can initate a search of all the Central Valley MLS systems and have emails sent to you regarding properties matching your parameters by clicking here. Additionally, you can set up your own property portal that will allow you to save properties you are especially interested in and may want to review again in the future.
When Selling Real Estate
When it comes time to help you sell, I will want to visit the property and will ask you to show me what you think is great (and no so great) about it. After studying the property, I may recommend a number of improvements I think you should consider in preparing your property for sale. My goal is to help you make the property as aesthetically pleasing as possible for a minimum investment of time or money.
Also, I will perform a pricing analysis that considers what other “comparable” properties have sold for in your area. (This is not going to tell us the price at which we should attempt to market your property, but it is going to help us understand what pricing conclusions potential buyers may reach in valuing your property.) Finally, we will discuss what we believe the property should sell for and develop a strategy for communicating that value to perspective buyers.
